"Fund for revitalization is taken from compensation to increase its building's floor coefficient (KLB)," he stated.
Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin added, since 1982, Jakarta Provincial Government has been managing the Lapangan Benteng. Through revitalization, it is hoped able to revive the function and the meaning of cultural heritage as a tourist destination.
"Our duty is to raise the historical value and becomes a tourist destination," he disclosed.
